In "Ballerinas on the Balcony" the Inventress, in her efforts to protect herself and the ballerinas, uses the thought box and its chess pieces to help stave off insidious attacks from various factions of the Roman dynasty.
Featured on the left is a pen and ink illustration of a chess piece of Agrippina used in the game. Illustrations for the game are all first drawn in pen and ink, then processed through graphic design tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop and then finally animated with Adobe Flash.
Agrippina was the mother of Nero, Emperor of Rome around 50 AD. She was considered ruthless and violent. Agrippina, was a Roman Empress and was part of the Julio-Claudian dynasty.
