Penelope Pen told BookMark and its class of virtual students that she was flattered that she has been transformed into a coloring page that featured her on the job, "Its tough out her on the road trying to find the latest fashion shows and the most stylish pieces." Pointing to Santa Rosa as a case in point, Penelope lamented "finding fashion shows in Santa Rosa is not something you do on a moments notice. For the most part, they come and go on a moments notice. There are however fashion shows in the Spring and Summer at Montgomery Village. Coming fairly soon is the Eleventh Annual Catwalk for a Cure. That show will be October 4, 2013 at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts." Penelope also mentioned that the Santa Rosa Mall in downtown will occasionally feature fashion shows sponsored by Santa Rosa Junior College. started Roman collection of fashion designs.
When asked about the virtual fashion show calendar, Penelope paused, "you'd think I'd know where and when all the virtual fashions, since I am a virtual person. But the truth is I will have to find out. However, don't forget about the upcoming real Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in July."
Penelope Pen before leaving mentioned that her coloring page portrait meant a lot to her. She said she spent sometime creating a unique abstract look that blended in with the Mercedes Benz fashion theme. She also mentioned that the picture was taken in front of an art gallery in Miami. For the picture, Penelope was dressed in a swank abstract twenties look which featured not only a twenties style hat but also a chin bow. The chin bow, Penelope said, was an afterthought.
