Floating Dresses catch interest at BookMark's
Virtual Fashion Show. Pent and Ink Illustration,Blue Ball Point

BookMark incorporates floating fashion into fashion show plans

BookMarkTutoring.com(Santa Rosa, CA), a diversified online and offline tutoring company specializing in math, science and graphic design, has released a sketch of its latest fashion display theme, floating fashion.

According to Mark Stansberry, director of fashion design automation at BookMark, "making clothes float is no simple task in the real world. One of the problems with floating fashion at cloth and fabric fashion shows is that it is difficult to maintain an aesthetic form as the dress, skirts, tops and scarfs float across the stage. Although the released illustration shows just two balloons carrying one top, in a real life application there would be balloons hidden underneath the dress. As well, in a fabric and cloth show, fans would be needed to propel the floating dress across the stage."

The floating  top assembly is available as  part of BookMark's fashion design library. With BookMark's Fashion Design Automation tools, fashion libraries and graphic design blocks, BookMark's students can vectorize, colorize,  transform and animate design objects to create customized fashion compositions, highly stylized fashion settings and complete virtual fashion shows and worlds.
