As you can see from these graphic edits it is as best difficult to remove color cast from scans of pen and ink with Picasa. Picasa comes close, but you can still see the light gray rectangular color cast background in all the drawings. To ensure colorcast removal the best method I have found is with Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator ensures. Some versions of Microsoft Word have a tool to remove color cast from pictures imported into Word.
