Smart Power Meters: Class Action Law Suits Emerge

As the issue about the health effects of smart power meters emerges, law suits on this very subject have emerged.  The article titled "Mass tort lawsuit filed over smart health injuries:" at  emfsafetynet.org names Southern California Edison and PG&E in such law suits. Also mentioned are installers of the equipment, Corix and Wellington, as well as smart meter manufacturers, Itron and Landis and Gyr.

This could be just the tip of the iceberg for utility companies, smart power meter installation companies, smart power meter manufacturers and even possible semiconductor companies. As utility companies ramp up the installation of smart power meters across the country and the world, the number of law suits and health effects could also ramp up significantly. Add to this, the possibility that health effects don't occur until 3 to 15 months after smart power installation, the utilities may  law suit see a lawsuit meltdown.  If the utilities are lucky, the health problems might just be isolated incidences. In these cases, the utilities might not have followed common sense electromagnetic installation shielding practices and perhaps even set their smart power transmission power rates way to high.

As the law suits spread, so can you expect skepticism about the safety of smart power meters. Already, youtube has a flood of  smart power meter shielding devices one can make yourself or buy.
